This film shows the journey of six friends who traveled along the coast of south east Alaska. The six friends dreamt of this adventure ever since they were kids. Although there are uncountable places for snowboarding, the famous snowboard productions always end up in Alaska. It seemed to be the place on earth. ´gold for the soul is about water, its energy and snowboarding. every snowboarder knows how stoked fresh snow makes us, especially when it’s falling from the sky. we get completely hyped just thinking about riding it. a fresh snowfall is just a whole load of energy waiting for someone to suck it up. we as snowboarders experience this energy first hand as it sends us charging down the mountains and through the trees with huge smiles on our faces, each face shot getting us more and more pumped....

Ride Greener et Coupdoeil Film ont réussi à rendre possible l’impossible en hiver 2012/13. Ils ont produit le tout premier film de snowboard et de ski respectueux de l’environnement – STEPS.STEPS démontre les effets du changement climatique tout comme la fascination des sports d’hiver. Le film se pose la question de savoir si la pratique du snowboard et du ski peut de nos jours encore être en accord avec la nature.
