Le 3 Janvier 2011 Danny Toumarkine a fait une terrible chute en snowboard dans le Montana. Danny était transporté par hélicoptère à l'hôpital local où il a passé 33 jours. Pendant son séjour à l'hôpital, Danny a subi quatre opérations au cerveau à la suite de son traumatisme cranien. Danny à de la chance d'être encore vivant.
